This candidate must have a passion for design, creativity and problem solving. Our office specializes in design focused residential and boutique commercial projects. We also have in-house development projects that we are further expanding. We are a collaborative office, so great communication skills are a must. You will take a project from start to finish from the big picture down to the details. Client interactions and multi-tasking between several roles will be required. You will need to manage multiple projects and deadlines to meet client goals and budgets. Architecture is about using elegant design to solve difficult problems and we are always looking for new challenges. You will need to have the same drive to make things better each time you design. We truly love what we do and want you to come with the same enthusiasm.
Responsibilities
Your primary role will be working directly on projects starting from Schematic Design through Construction Documentation and Administration. We offer full services to our clients and great client relations and customer service is imperative. You will need to be able to manage your time and be organized to be able to work seamlessly between the big picture and the details of a project. Every day will bring new challenges and we need you to think of every challenge as a way to make things better. Sometimes the best design comes from the most challenging projects.
Requirements
Minimum 7-10 Years of Experience in Architecture
Proficient in Revit
Additional skills in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Sketchup desired
Proficiency in Excel is a plus
Be able to work a min of 40 hr work week
Ability to be organized to meet deadlines and multi-task
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
An appreciation for design and problem solving by thinking outside the box
Ability to work collaboratively in a small office setting
Graphic sensibility is a must
